Tom's custom tackle box...

I often get called in to customise objects... Record boxes, DJ booths, Skatedecks, Shoes, jackets... The only limit is your imagination...

This was a request to customise a tackle box as a birthday gift for well known Eventing rider, Tom Crisp. The initial brief was for the words Team Crisp to be painted on all four sides in shades of greys with pops of colour but the job expanded as the day went on with various elements added to represent many of his famous or favourite horses over his career.

After sanding and priming the surfaces to help the paint adhere, and a mammoth masking tape origami session to cover and protect all the metalwork, I completed the wrap-around design, plus some extra elements such as a riding helmet, and some drawer fronts, all under the careful watch of their curious three year old, two dogs, and a stream of passing horses.
